PROJECT DETAILS: Construction of the Brady Road Improvements from NW 16th Avenue to NW Pacific Rim Blvd began in September 2019 and is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2020. Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area due to intermittent construction related delays. The new roadway will include one lane in each direction with a center left-turn lane or raised median, bike lanes, sidewalks, storm water collection and treatment, water and sewer system improvements, landscaping, street lighting and other related improvements.

While the project will include the installation of a temporary lane on the west side of the existing pavement to facilitate two-way traffic during construction, motorists will likely experience delays when driving through the project. The improvement contract was awarded to Rotschy, Inc. of Vancouver at the City Council Meeting held on August 19th for their bid price of $5,684,212.54.
