UPCOMING EVENTS FOR KIDS

Haunted Happenings!

The Great Jack O'Lantern Hunt: all month long
October 24th, 3:30-5:30: Paper Sugar Skull Craft, TEENS ONLY
October 26th, 3-5pm: Pumpkin decorating (bring your own pumpkin)
October 28th, 6:30-7:30pm: Spooky Stories
October 28th, 7:30-8:30pm: Haunted Library and crafts

Club K3: Once a month at 3pm we’ll have a fun activity! Maybe it’s crafts, maybe it’s a game, maybe it’s building something…come in and find out! Parents, please stay with your child. For grades K-3. September 20th, October 18th, and November 15th.
Pokemon Club: Kids, come trade and share your Pokemon interests! This program is a community/library partnership. Every second Thursday of the month at 4pm. 
The LEGO Club: A gathering for LEGO lovers of all ages. A new "Librarian’s Challenge" every month, free play, and thousands of Lego bricks and minifigs. No sign-up is required. Every third Thursday of the month at 4pm. 
Story Explorers: A book discussion group for 2nd-3rd grades and their parents! How it works: Sign out a special copy of the book before the meeting. You both read the book. You both come to the meeting, and then keep your copy of the book for good, free! There will be snacks and an activity. The September meeting will discuss Please Write in This Book by Mary Amato on Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30 p.m.
Page Turners: A book discussion group for 4th-6th grades, and their parents. How it works: Sign out a special copy of the book before the meeting. You both read the book. You both come to the meeting, and then keep your copy of the book for good, free! There will be snacks and an activity. The next meeting will discuss The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare on Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the Lacamas Lake Lodge (sign up in the Library).
