This group started in 2000 with discussion of the book Plainsong by Kent Haruf. Since then they have met almost once a month to discuss fiction, nonfiction, classics and contemporary novels. Mystery and Mayhem


This group started in 2002 with discussion of Margaret Maron’s The Bootlegger’s Daughter. Mystery lover’s have been gathering to discover new authors and great mysteries ever since. Page Turners


For kids in 4th-6th grades and their parents. Borrow a special copy of the book from the library, you both read it, you both come to the meeting, and then you get to keep the book for free. Sign-up required. Snacks and an activity, too. This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Sept-May at the Lacamas Lake Lodge (sign-up at the library). Call the library at 360-834-4692 to find out what the current book is.

Story Explorers


A book discussion group for 2nd-3rd grades and their parents! How it works: Sign out a special copy of the book before the meeting. You both read the book. You both come to the meeting, and then keep your copy of the book for good, free! There will be snacks and an activity. This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Sept-May. Call the library at 360-834-4692 to find out what the current book is.

Any Book Club - for teens


Teens in 6th-12th grades, come chat about your favorite book, or what you are reading right now. Snacks and pop! Every 4th Monday of the month at 4pm.

Forever Young


Book discussion group for adults who love to read young adult books; everyone reads a different book. Every third Monday at 6pm.
