Battalion Chiefs – Four Battalion Chiefs manage all emergency operations and training. The Emergency Operations Division provides emergency response to any emergency that threatens life or property, including fire suppression, technical rescue, medical first response and paramedic ambulance transport services.

Forty-six 24-hour Emergency Personnel, Three Fire Stations

Personnel hold either EMT/I.V. Technician or EMT/Paramedic certification in addition to extensive fire and rescue training. Fire Captains, in addition to supervision of emergency crews, are assigned an area of administrative responsibility.

“A” Shift – 16 personnel. Kevin Bergstrom, Grant Brock, & Kevin West, Fire Captains. Captain Bergstrom is the Safety Officer and chair of the department grant committee.  Captain Brock is assigned responsibility for department apparatus. 

“B” Shift – 15 personnel. Michael Brown, Ben Silva, & Kevin Villines, Fire Captains. Captain Brown oversees uniforms for the department.  Captain Villines is assigned responsibility for Entry Level testing.

“C” Shift – 16 personnel. Brooks Cooper, Wade Faircloth, & Greg Weisser, Fire Captains. Captain Cooper is assigned responsibility for department apparatus. Captain Faircloth oversees personal protective equipment for all department members.  Captain Weisser oversees facility maintenance and also teaches CPR and First Aid classes.
