Whispers in the Wind at Second Story Gallery

Vagabonds, a quilting group made up of nine local artists, will present their creations at Second Story Gallery in December and January. The show, Whispers in the Wind, will consist of 12-inch squares stitched by these local quilters: Ada Levins, Joanne Adams Roth, Wilma Fletcher Scott, Audrey Prothero, Karan Brooks, Sharry Olmstead, Lynn Czaban, Beverly Woodard and Val Pellens.

An opening reception will be held on First Friday, Dec. 6, at a special time of 3 to 6 p.m. in the Gallery, which is upstairs in the Camas Public Library. This will allow reception goers to mingle with the artists and listen to the music of Rob Lewis, but still attend the Hometown Holidays event happening a few blocks away in downtown Camas that evening.

The Vagabonds’ show will continue through Jan. 25, 2020 in the Gallery. The Gallery is accessible after library hours at 625 NE 4th Ave. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
