Tree maintenance in our downtown corridor is scheduled for November 6th and 7th. We expect this work to be completed quickly, and have set the schedule up to minimize impacts to the downtown businesses. The scheduled work will include routine pruning and removal of dead wood to enhance the overall health of the downtown tree canopy. “No Parking” signs will be placed ahead of time and removed as the arborist completes work at each location. There are two large trees on Cedar Street that are dying that will also be removed. The City will replace these trees with species that will thrive at these locations and enhance the downtown tree canopy.
